Save Second

Outfielder Brandon Goodwin recently joined the team as an outfielder. Goodwin, who has played at a high level for many years, has never played Coed softball, but is excited about the team, it’s prospects and purpose.

Goodwin’s mother is a breast cancer survivor.

Team Save Second Base starts their tournament season on February 16 in Euless, Texas at Softball World at Texas Star.

We are a group of community minded members of a coed softball team based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas that travel around the country raising awareness and fighting breast cancer. With a survivor on the team and several players affected by it, we decided that we would do something to fight this deadly disease.

We are dedicating this entire season to this fight and you can help by supporting us. Supporting us is simple. We are looking for companies and individuals as dedicated as we are to pledge a certain amount per inning of play that Team Save Second Base completes throughout the season.
